Catching up... again...

Anyway, last weekend John (bro-in-law) took me, Dad, and his father to see Lord of the Rings. Plus side is that the third part, Return of the King, lives up to the hype. Downside is that John's dad caught something, and is currently in the hospital now with puenomia. That, and no Elvis. (DANGIT!)
My sister wanted to do something for me on my birthday yesterday, but John's dad is priority. That's something they have to concentrate on, and I understand fully.
Got $40 for the auction commission, and $20 (three tickets) in the background art raffle off of my comic website. Come on, folks. I can't be *that* bad... can I?
My parents gave me a 100-count CD set and a card. I probably will have to nuke my PC and slap Gentoo on it.
