Nov. 14th, 2003 05:22 pmNo Stalag '99 today. I'm missing my #02 pen, and my mom's PC is DOA. Most of my time's been taken up on the latter.
Let me give you the low-down. For about three days now, I've reinstalled Win2K five times, and I get file corruption on it. Right now, it keeps running ChkDsk every second boot.
I'm not happy with this Asus A7V motherboard, which an AMD Athlon 900Mhz chip is in it. Not happy at all. Alot of research says there's many problems with that motherboard, espeically with recent bios versions... but that's back in 2001. Ugh. The board's two years old anyway.
Anyone recommend a good, cheap mobo?
