After work, treated Dad to dinner at Duclaw Brewing Co. Had to treat Mom too, but it's a Father's Day Gift! It's mainly for Dad.
Duclaw's has very good food, though, and the staff to pull it off. We started off with the Chicken Casadeas, and Dad had the Run Wild beer, which is "lighter" than the "Bare Ass Naked" beer they usually have on tap. I like that. It doesn't have as sharp or bitter of a taste, and should definetly be a starter beer. The casadeas had a bit of spice, but not enough to make you running.
Dad and Mom ordered the Duclaw roast (the pot roast), while I went for lighter fare (a roast beef sandwich). The Pot Roast today was very good (last time I had it, it was slightly missing something. Maybe they fixed it). The Roast beef was good, but the bread they put it on just made it huge enough not to be eazily eaten with your hands. I took it home, see about slicing it down a bit to make different sandwiches out of it.
Total bill came out to be $49, with a $7 tip ontop of that. Good food. Nice beer.
