Lucked Twice.
Apr. 16th, 2003 10:00 pmHad fun at work. Got in at 9am for a nine hour shift -- and they (the megaplex) had Daredevil miniposters they needed to get rid of. So, put 'em in one of the theaters for folks to pick up. Oh, and have one. (Luck! Ahead 1 poster)
Three of the crew that helped restock with a food delivery was pulled to set up a movie stand for "The Core" (Look it up at imdb.org). It took them three hours to follow the instructions on building the thing.
A guy ran into it (accident? deliberate? Can't say) and destroyed it in 1 minute with me, two managers, and another crewmember watching. *CRASH!* *RRRIP!*
The poster was ok, but the base was bad. Management said "Toss it." I asked "Can I keep the poster?" "Sure."
Twenty minutes later, after tossing the trash, +1 poster. (LUCK!)
I'm happy.
