Out of three merchants hiring (Costco, WalMart, and Books A Million), Costco called to set up an interview for a part-time position. *UGH!* I was hoping WalMart would have some openings, it just opened up a new store.

There's going to be a Staples and a Circut City there in the same area, so I'll probably apply there too. I'm probably overqualified, too.

Meanwhile, I'm intrested in WorldCom's nice impending bankruptcy. As you know, MCI and UU.NET are subsidaries under their umbrella. They're also spam services provider, and are mostly blackholed for email. It'll explode all over the place, I'll bet.

Here's a few stock tips for you: If you have stock of spammers or spam service providers, *SELL THEM*. They're worthless. Toss WorldCom, Amazon.com, and AT&T. Buy Sprint, they're cleaning their act up. Drop Qwest. The only way I can see holding such stock is to get into the stockholders meetings and ask "Why is this company loosing money by supporting spammers and other criminals, while loosing legit customers? This isn't the Titantic, you know?"
