Ugh. Everywhere we went to, noone had any DDR SDRAM in stock. It exists, but it's either not Crucial Tech's 256Mb or costs more than $100. Got the new scanner for the parents. Once it warms up (26 deg F weather!) it should be fine. They're also looking for an Olympus digital camera, but everyone was out of 'em too.
I must be lucky -- I got the NIC I needed w/no problems.
Dad ordered the memory tonight from Crucial, which is having a "Order and ship via FedEx 2-day for free!!!" deal. Cost about $76 to do it total. I doubt it'll arrive Wendsday...
