This is what we call EPIC MEGA FAIL.

First, Jet is not black.  Spike is not Johnny Depp. Fae isn't that natural.  And Ed's not a boy.

The only thing they did get right was Ein, the corgi datadog.

Fox has failed.

I have to agree, it sounds fake. Given the release date and the fact it's already the middle of summer, I think the odds of them actually making such a date are slim to none. Plus, I haven't seen a single commercial or trailer for this movie; although a few do go without much fanfare, not usually from a big studio like FOX.
