(no subject)

Well, my ISP must be realizing "We better fix these little things because folks in our area are now looking at fiber."

It's been at least a week, but now I can pull the latest LiveJournal, comics, etc that change on a regular (daily or less) basis, and not have to reload the page (forcing it).
