Most of the Nokia 6xxx series have infrared. The TDMA phones can't actually use the internet, but you can use them as a wireless fax if necessary.
The GSM models you can, I just have never used it for such. Unless there is software loaded on the phone specificly for the gophone service (which I don't think there is, other than checking balance via the WAP interface) it should be fine. Besides if you can download from the phone, you can download any software on it and upload it to the other phone.
