Those of you who are praying... please stop.

As I'm traveling thru Baltimore and having to waste about three hours time, I find this in my local paper: Distant prayer doesn't help heal, finds largest study yet (Baltimore Sun)

Further down, the article reports that those being prayed for, and knew about it, have a higher rate of complications than those who didn't know.  While the results aren't conclusive (the study was funded by a foundation that attempts to apply science to the spiritual realm, a noble profession), it is worth some added study as to weither it is a direct link, or just the power of suggestion.

Just in case, though, stop praying for my father, ok?  He's fine and I'd like him to stay that way. :)
