As you know, AT&T Wireless is now part of Cingular Wireless (AT&T Cingular, anyone?)  and they're trying to merge plans, aparently.  Which also means we'll probably have to switch soon to Cingular.

Mom and Dad have Free2Go, a prepay plan.  Cingular has KIC, which matches the plan.  Mom will probably like the LG flip phone.

I have an origional GoPhone, with Wireless Internet.  Cingular has Take Charge, which is matches my current plan -- infact, I think it's like $4 cheaper.  Of course, it's color graphics, so I'll be burning it up faster.  Unfortunately, none of the phones have IrDA capability.  The Sony Ericsson T237 has a Serial port data cable, thankfully, for modem use.  The Siemens C61 only has USB.  The LG1300, forgetaboutit!  I'm now aiming, again, for the Nokia 6800 or 6820 (with both AT&T and Cingular support.  I'll just swap cards)
