Hold the phone!

Projected to win (it's not all offical yet, folks):

NOONE!  Noone has gotten the requisite 270 eletoral votes to win it!  It's currently Bush 254, Kerry 252.  TWO POINT DIFFERENCE.  Ohio is still in play with 20 Electoral votes, and they have NOT certified their election.

My suggestion to Kerry:  DON'T CONCEDE!    Get those lawyers down to Ohio, Florida, and every state that it's been so close you can challenge.  Contact the ACLU and get on board with challenging the results in the key battleground states.

It's over.

It's over.  Kerry has conceeded the election to Bush.  4 more years of an idiot in office.

Time to fight...

I voted for Kerry so that we would have a mixed-party Executive/Congressional combonation.  It would of forced both sides to really work out plans and get things truly bipartisan.  Not alot of work for the population.

Now Bush is re-elected.  He's got alot of work to redeem himself in alot of folks' eyes.  He's made a pure mess of things, and so he must clean things up.  He must be ready to accept change, to switch his position.  This is the last four years, and his legacy is not looking all too good.

Back to comics...

300 is the magic number.  It's the # of nonfiller strips (with some room, it's actually 270, but 30 strips to buffer yourself is no big deal, eh?) I need to consider another run at a book with Plan 9 Publishing.  I'm currently at 166.  I need another 44.

At this current rate (3 per week) I'll be done that magic number in early September, just in time for Chrismas 2005.

I wonder what the leadtime is needed for Chrismas 2005...
