Minovsky particles...

Some partial research presents some intresting ideas about these from Gundam's history, including their Interlace Field properties. But I can't see using it whole-heartedly, being a realist and all.

So, I'm going to create Merkovski particles instead. :) They have similar properties with Minovsky particles, but are created in the natural decay of a black hole or artifical singularity (thus, feed your Gundam). They're also used in similar Interlace fields which allows BHC cells to be the size of a milk crate. Gundams will require two of these by regulations, should you choose to use 'em.

(Further editing)

A bit more on Merkovski particles. They stop any matter or energy in any direction, but have a slight curvature in their lattice depending on their charge. A lattice can be shaped around ways to feed/recharge/create an artifical singularity, and can also open or close off the artifical singularity. The particles themselves take a bit of power to change, but it's still negligable considering the power-to-decay ratios.
