WHO CARES about some 20+ odd people squatting around a ball, tossing it back and forth, trying to beat each other up over it just to get it to one place or another. Who cares about the half-time show, which usually sucks anyway. Who cares about the wise-ass cracks done by the "commentators." And why do we have "color commentators" anyway!?!? I "see" the "game" just fine on Frank's 2000" TV.

I'm here for the commercials. Anyone going to tape Apple's updated 1984 commercial? It has the runner wearing an iPod now.

I wouldn't mind seeing the commercials if I could do so without having to sit through the game.

It's 22 people, hon, 11 per team. :)

Football is actually a very cool sport if you understand it. :)

Sports are cool without the play-by-play talkety talk made by guys that sit on their duff out of the weather and away from the real action. Media sports just plain sucks. Along with most media. I don't give a sh!t what one player did last season or 5 years ago. I certainly don't care what a player did when they were on that team 20 years ago.

Why would I ever watch football? To see something that almost never happens. The live coverage of an uber mistake: a dead player. Pretty morbid, yes, but it's not as boring as watching the ref scratch his ass.
