The phrase is: Expect Delays
Since Friday, I have been completely away from my pencil and paper. Some of it was the temp job I seem to have landed. But mostly, it's been working at my sister's why-isn't-it-done new house... from 9am to nearly 9pm, not getting home until like... way late.
Here's the long story of it. My brother in law (who works at a Civil Engineering firm) sent out bid requests, and went for the middleline. He went with Arundel Homes. Turns out, there was many problems with that company for doing custom houses -- and they filed Chapter 11 after one of the co-owners commited suicide. Sis got the money back, most of it, and they've basically become the contractors themselves -- which means coordinating everything and anything. And yanking me out of my weekends to work on stuff which isn't going to benifit me anytime soon. It's wasting *MY* time, making me miss shows, paperwork, JOBS... ARGH!!!!
Anyway, I'm trying to build a buffer, and I'll try to get a comic up tomorrow. I have an idea on what I want to do on it, but I keep getting called away. I also have a few ideas I want to sketch out, including another WS Reversi picture.
